Welcome to The Warren

Welcome to The Warren, where we provide pre-school sessions for 2, 3 and 4 year olds.
Based in Kempston, Bedford, The Warren has been serving the local community for over 40 years. We work in partnership with our families and the wider community.
We have built up an excellent reputation, which we are very proud of. Year after year, our children develop a love of learning, and we have inquisitive successful learners who move on to their primary schools. We love the work that we do and take great pride in the services we provide.
Our childcare setting offers a convenient location where children enjoy their day in a busy and stimulating way.
We accommodate the individual needs of all children and families irrespective of ethnic heritage, social and economic background, gender, sexual orientation, ability or disability.
We offer a traditional style nursery setting. We are a pack away setting which means we can regularly change and update the layout of the room, making it exciting for the children.
Our curriculum is based on the children's individual interests, and we are continually building on this each day.
All areas of pre-school education are offered, giving every child the opportunity to play, learn and grow in a safe and friendly environment.
We look forward to welcoming you at The Warren.

Skills That Children Will Learn

Children will develop a wide range of skills that lay the foundation for their future growth. They will enhance their social skills through group activities and interactions with peers, learning to share, collaborate, and communicate effectively. Cognitive skills are nurtured through hands-on learning, where children explore problem-solving, early literacy, and numeracy concepts. They will also develop fine and gross motor skills through activities like drawing, building, and physical play. Additionally, we focus on emotional development, helping children understand and express their feelings while building confidence and independence.
